Machiel van Duijn
With his 35 years in Real Estate Machiel van Duijn brings experience in various aspects of Property: architecture, project development and management of private property investment funds.
Before Secerno Real Estate, Machiel made his career as a manager and COO at architectural firms, construction and development companies and as a shareholder / COO of a real estate developer.
Machiel is responsible for the strategy and the successful implementation and acquisition of investment properties. He is also responsible for the company’s general management.

Barry Kumarappan
Barry Kumarappan has over 20 years of international experience as a project manager and budget responsible within American listed multinational software vendors.
In 1991 Barry completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Nyenrode / Rochester.
Within the company, Barry is responsible for attracting and maintaining relationships with investors and strategic partners. Barry is also responsible for monitoring the management of the tenants of the investment properties.

Richard Berkenbosch
Richard Berkenbosch has more than 25 years Controlling and Accounting experience in medium-sized and large companies as Group Controller, Financial Controller and Finance Director working with Transport, Service and Property Development companies. He was also involved in cash and debt management. In 1991 Richard completed his Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Nijenrode/Rochester University.
In this capacity Richard is financially responsible and owns and manages relationships with amongst others financial institutions. His focus is on financial- and management reporting, compliance, managing foreign exchange exposure, treasury, liquidity, tax matters and advising the investors/participants.

Drs. Henk G. Hilverink RBA
From the early 80s involved in the real estate sector from the persepctive of the pension sector.
From 1995 to 2004 Chairman of the ABP woningfonds. Responsible for the transformation of this nonprofit fund of 60,000 homes effectively and efficiently to an operating fund, which is attractive to other institutional investors.
In 2000 the name changed to Vesteda and ABP has reduced its share from 100% to 49%. Large institutional investors, approx. 10 pension funds and insurance companies, have then taken a share of 51%.
Henk has fulfilled several functions in the real estate including:
- Until the end of 2015 Chairman of the Real Estate Council
- Member of the Supervisory Board Achmea Real Estate Funds
- Former chairman of the Real Estate Council (ROZ)
- Former chairman of the board of the Foundation Property Index
- Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Urban funds and advisor.
These investment funds are not under supervision of the Dutch Authority Financial Market, there is no licence required for the investments
